Netflix's Teen Romcom The Kissing Booth is getting its third part and it has already been filmed which was confirmed by Joey King. 

Release Date

The third installment of Netflix's Popular Teen Romcom has already been shot and will premiere exclusively on Netflix next year. The announcement of the third movie comes after only a few days after the premiere of The Kissing Booth 2.

According to Deadline, actors Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richarson-Sellers, Meganne Young, and Molly Ringwald, are all set to return for the third movie.

During Youtube Live with the cast, Courtney shared that we filmed the second and third parts at the exact same time.

"It was the hardest secret to keep ever," King added, saying that filming was tricky because "in one day we'd be filming both." Netflix also announced the third installment in the franchise on Twitter.

It's Official!!

The Kissing Booth 3 is all set to premiere in 2021, Netflix posted it on its official page and also released a teaser trailer on Youtube.





What Has Happened Yet?

The First Kissing Booth was adapted by a novel of the same name written by Beth Reekels and it was turned into a Netflix film by Vince Marcello who also directed the film and it became the most rewatched film of 2018.

The story follows Elle (King), a teenager whose romance with a high school senior Noah (Elordi) puts her lifelong friendship in jeopardy with Noah's younger brother Lee (Cortney).

The second film picked up with Noah at Harvard and Elle in her senior year of High School. It sees Elle in a long-distance relationship with Noah, and trying to get into her dream college with her best friend Lee, and making another close friend Marco (Perez), but as Noah becomes close to a college girl (Richardson-Sellers), It takes a test of how much Elle trusts Noah.
