Warner Bros. finally unveiled the trailer of the most talked-about Batman yet in the virtual DC FanDome Event because all the Comic-Cons were canceled during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Trailer

The trailer shows that Robert Pattinson's Batman is the darkest one yet and in addition, I would like to say he is the coolest one yet also. In The Batman, Bruce Wayne (Batman) is trying to find a criminal who is leaving notes for him and Captain Gordon (Jeffrey Wright). Directed by Matt Reeves this movie will show much grittier, violent, human, and detective side of Batman. The trailer also shows the glimpses of Zoë Kravitz's 'Catwoman', and we also see the Batmobile,(which is really cool).

Matt Reeves had only shot 25% of The Batman before it was halted due to the Coronavirus Pandemic it will resume shooting in early September and it will release on September 1, 2021

The Batman will be a dark-detective noir kind of a film than a superhero flick, it is inspired by classic- noirs like Chinatown and Taxi Driver. The Batman was written by Matt Reeves and Peter Craig.

According to Variety, In the panel for the film, Reeves said: “The Batman” won’t be an origin story per se, but it does start in “Year Two” of Batman’s emergence, in which Batman and several other iconic characters — Catwoman, the Riddler, and the Penguin (Colin Farrell) — are still in the early stages of their development. In exploring the corruption at the heart of the story, Batman also begins to uncover a larger story of corruption within the city, and how it may connect back to the vastly wealthy and powerful Wayne family.
