Dune is a sci-fi saga based on the classic book series of the same name written by Frank Herbert. Denis Villeneuve is an Academy Award winner French-Canadian director who has proven his worth in movies like Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival. Dune's first trailer is a sight to behold with space ships, never-ending deserts, and space monsters.

Dune follows Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) who was born into a great family and with a destiny beyond his understanding. In order to save his family, he has to go on a life-threatening journey to the most dangerous planet in the universe. Dune tells the tale of a conflicted hero who has to face his fears.

Dune will hit theaters on December 18, 2020. It was pushed because of the Tenet box office performance, as it wasn't as high as expected.
