The Suicide Squad - Sequel or Reboot?
Although this Suicide Squad is being treated like a sequel to the 2017 Suicide Squad, it is not. It's more of a soft reboot and the produce Peter Safran went as far to call it a total reboot. Gunn has changed many characters and the tone of the film so we can believe Safran when he says that and I think it is a good thing that this is a reboot and to a sequel because I didn't really like the 2017 Suicide Squad that much.
